How long am I committing to? +
All arrangements start with a 3-month initial term, then continue on a rolling monthly basis with 30 days' notice. The initial term gives enough time to implement the process properly and for both sides to see meaningful results.
How does the success fee work? +
The success fee applies to the Partnership tier and is agreed upfront before anything starts. The exact percentage sits within a 10-20% range and is determined by your franchise fee level and the scope of involvement agreed, both of which are confirmed at the diagnostic. It becomes payable when the franchise agreement is signed and the franchise fee has been received by you. There are no surprises and no ambiguity on either side.
How quickly will I see results? +
The process improvements are visible quickly. Response times, qualification consistency and pipeline structure typically improve within the first few weeks. Signed franchisees take longer and depend on your enquiry volume, your franchise fee level and how quickly candidates move through their own decision process. KBM won't promise a franchisee by a certain date, but it will make sure no good candidate is lost to a slow or inconsistent process.
How does KBM handle candidate data? +
All candidate data is managed within KBM's own secure CRM throughout the duration of the arrangement. This ensures consistent, accurate reporting regardless of what internal systems you use. The data is yours throughout. You receive candidate summaries as they are produced and a full export of all data upon termination of the arrangement. KBM then deletes its copy. All data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. KBM is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and candidate data is used solely for the purpose of managing your franchise recruitment pipeline.
How are candidates contacted and will they know it's not coming directly from us? +
On the Support and Management tiers, KBM contacts candidates transparently as a specialist working on your behalf. Candidates are told they are speaking with KBM Franchising, who handle recruitment for your brand. This is increasingly common and most candidates have no issue with it. On the Partnership tier, KBM operates as a full extension of your team: using your email domain, your branding and your tone of voice throughout. To the candidate, every interaction looks and feels entirely internal. The setup for this is straightforward and agreed as part of onboarding. Whichever tier you are on, you see every enquiry as it arrives and nothing happens without your awareness.
